Head barkeeper and master mixologist, William Bastian, known for experimenting with new distilled spirits and mixers, has created a time-honored cocktail list inspired by the classics.

Textbook cocktails such as the Dry Martini, Gimlet, Manhattan, Mint Julep, Old- Fashioned and of course the Sazerac with a modern twist will make an appearance on the menu.

Featured cocktails will be composed of freshly squeezed juices along with the use of unique bitters, garnishes and seasonal succulents for creative twists on our timeless classics. Bastian states the cocktail list at The Handy Liquor Bar is “ focused on the classics, quality and simplicity.”

Prior to creating the cocktail list at The Handy Liquor Bar, Bastian was selected by international hospitality group Global Dining Corp. to bring an American style mixology to their portfolio of restaurants in Japan working along side greats like Katsuhiko Tsuda, and Musashi Ryu. After spending time abroad, Bastian then returned to the States to create the cocktail list and become Head Bartender at Matt Levine’s previous restaurant, Sons of Essex.
